On our way home from a visit to see how MUJI is utilizing the former Oikawa Elementary School site in Otaki Town, we dropped in at two stores that were recommended by a local. The breeding of wild boar and Chinese muntjac is a common problem in the entire Boso Peninsula. The wild boar rice bowl and gelato were both delicious.

Otaki Town is located in the southern part of Chiba Prefecture. Ryohin Keikaku, which operates MUJI, leased the former Oikawa Elementary School which was closed in 2013 under a 10-year contract, and we visited there to see how they are exploring to rejuvenate this community.
